Bring Them Light is a memorial website. Pages, photographs, and stories that appear here are published with the project’s consent process.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 only after you choose Accept. Reject leaves it off. You can withdraw an acceptance at any time with the buttons below. Withdrawing stops further measurement in this browser and clears the Google Analytics cookies stored here.

When analytics is on, Google receives the page path, a general location derived from the connection, and technical details such as browser type. The page title sent is “Bring Them Light”, not the title of a memorial page.

We do not send form entries, names typed into a form, email addresses, phone numbers, or the part of a web address after the question mark. Site search text and automatic form events are discarded before they can be sent. Analytics does not run on localhost or other non-production hosts.

Messages and other services

If you write through the contact, Carry Forward, or memorial-page forms, your message is delivered by Formspree to a private project inbox. We use it to reply and to care for memorial work. Do not send payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or passwords.

• Store purchases are processed by PayPal.
• Donations are processed by GivingTech.
• Video is hosted by Vimeo.
• The Map of Light loads map tiles from OpenFreeMap.
• Fonts may load from Google Fonts.
• The hosting provider keeps standard server logs such as IP address and requested URL.
